Grant applications now available for Walla Walla small business owners and non-profits.
Walla Walla County has now received the second round of Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) dollars from the state of Washington, the county will distribute $500,000 in assistance grants to Walla Walla County small businesses and non-profits that have been impacted by COVID-19.
These grants are separate from the City of Walla Walla and Port of Walla Walla’s recent grant opportunities.
The maximum grant award is $10,000, and the criteria for eligibility is broad so the funds can benefit the maximum number of businesses.
Applicants must meet these qualifications to be eligible for a grant:
- 0-50 employees
- Located within Walla Walla County
Businesses that meet these qualifications are invited to use an online form to apply to be considered for a grant. The application forms are available here:

Please note the Port of Walla Walla is working in conjunction with Walla Walla County to handle the processing of the grant applications.
The application window opens at 8:00 a.m. October 13, 2020 and closes on October 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
